Apple M2 Max Performance
M2 Max configurations feature a 12-core CPU with 8 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, providing strong multi-core performance for demanding professional and creative applications.

Standard configurations include a 30-core GPU, while selected systems were configurable with a 38-core GPU.

Apple M2 Ultra Performance
Higher-performance M2 Ultra configurations feature a 24-core CPU with 16 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores, providing substantially greater processing capability for intensive professional workloads.

M2 Ultra systems include a 60-core GPU, with selected configurations offering a powerful 76-core GPU.

Advanced Neural Engine

Both M2 Max and M2 Ultra include dedicated hardware acceleration for H.264, HEVC, ProRes and ProRes RAW, making the Mac Studio highly capable for professional video editing, encoding and post-production workflows.

M2 Ultra provides additional video decode, encode and ProRes engines for particularly demanding multi-stream and high-resolution media projects.

Four Rear Thunderbolt 4 Ports
