Up to Two Calls on One Line
The single directory number can support up to two calls, depending on the connected Cisco Unified Communications configuration.

Simple Display-Free Design
The CP-7902G does not include an LCD display, providing a simple physical user interface focused on essential telephone functions.

A paper label area with a protective cover can be used to identify the phone number or record frequently used numbers.

Dedicated Feature Buttons
Fixed feature buttons provide convenient access to commonly used functions including:

Traditional Handset Calling

The CP-7902G officially supports Cisco Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP) for integration with compatible Cisco CallManager / Cisco Unified Communications Manager environments.

Compatibility with the customer’s existing call-control platform should therefore be confirmed before purchase.

G.711 & G.729 Audio Codec Support
Supports standard narrowband voice codecs including G.711 and G.729 family codecs, providing efficient IP voice communication across compatible Cisco networks.

Voice Activity Detection
Supports Voice Activity Detection functionality in compatible Cisco environments, helping optimise network bandwidth during voice calls.

Comfort Noise Generation
Comfort Noise Generation support helps maintain a more natural call experience during periods when voice activity is not being transmitted.

Integrated Ethernet Connectivity
A built-in 10BASE-T Ethernet network connection allows the phone to connect directly to compatible Ethernet infrastructure for IP voice communication.

Cisco Inline Power Support
The CP-7902G supports Cisco pre-standard inline Power over Ethernet, allowing compatible Cisco network equipment to provide power through the Ethernet connection.

This is Cisco’s earlier proprietary inline-power implementation and should not be confused with standard IEEE 802.3af PoE support.

Optional Local Power
The phone can also operate using a compatible Cisco 48V external power supply when suitable inline power is not available.

The required power supply is included only when specifically stated in the selected product option.

Basic Business Calling Features
When supported by the connected Cisco communications platform, the CP-7902G provides access to essential calling functions such as call hold, redial, transfer, conference calling, voicemail access and call forwarding.
